If you want to become a corporal, you should read proper advertisement of current year. Now almost after one year, ASF announced their vaccencies. Before that, ASF not announced such rapid way, like now.
Eligible Criteria:
Following requirements/Eligible Criteria is needed for the post of Corporal in ASF;
Education: Matric with 60% marks
Age: 18-30 years
Height: 5f 6inch
Weight: According to BMI
Eyesight: 6/6 with or without glasses.
Colourblindness: Should not Positive
Selection Process:
So, this is the basic eligible criteria for the post of Corporal in ASF. Now we discuss step by step process to join Corporal in ASF.

Now we discuss each step in details.
Step-1: Physical & Medical Test of Corporal in ASF:
Firstly, you will report on the date, which is given in your registration slip. Then, ASF staff will check your document. No need to bring all educational documents. Only bring registration slip print and CNIC card. They also check either you have registered yourself or not. So after verification you will pay 100 rupees for test. It is the fee of all process which is managed by ASF staff. Then they will make your badge, it may be any number 50, 70, 90 candidates.
Then ASF officer will say, Ready go, you will start your running. If you will reach in 7:30 minutes, you will pass your running test. But you will get only 6 numbers. Running numbers schedule is given below:
6:30 minutes : 10 numbers
6:45 minutes : 9 numbers
7:00 minutes : 8 numbers
7:15 minutes : 7 numbers
7:30 minutes : 6 numbers
Above 7:30 minutes : 0 number (He will considered fail)
After running, you will go to the push-ups and sit ups. Push-ups and sit-ups number schedule is given below:
22 push-ups : 5 number
20 push-ups : 4 number
18 push-ups : 3 number
16 push-ups : 2 number
14 push-ups : 1 number
Sit-ups number schedule:
Same as push-ups numbering schedule.
Physical test total numbers will be 20 and you will pass on 15 or above. If you will get below than 15 then you will be fail.
If you will pass your physical test, then you will go your medical test. Medical test detail of Corporal in ASF is given below:
Firstly ASF staff will check your height, height should be 5feet 6 inch. If you have below than this even 1 inch or even 1cm then don't go for your test. Because there is no relaxation in height in Corporal medical test. After checking height you will go for weight check up. Weight should be according to BMI (Body Mass Index). BMI list is given below:
After checking your weight, you will go for eyes check-up. Eyesight should be 6/6 with or without glasses. For colourblindness you will read different colours number given in a book by ASF staff. Moreover they will check you carrying angle, and any cut on your body parts. If you will be normal, then you will pass your medical test in this way. After 1 to 1.5 month of physical test, written test will start.
Now we will move towards step-2.
Step-2: Corporal ASF Written Test:
You will download your written test slip again, as your registration slip. On given date you will report on test center. Then paper will start. It will be mcqs type paper. Only 50 mcqs. Time will be 60 minutes. You can easily solve your paper.
Written test pattern and syllabus is given below:
10 mcqs from English portion. It includes;
Synonyms, Antonyms, Direct Indirect, Parts of speech, sentence completion.
20 mcqs from G.K, Pak Study and current affairs.
20 mcqs from ASF departmental, basic math and Islamic study mcqs.

After giving written test. Then merit will be made and if you on merit, then you will be called for interview. This process takes 1 month. Interview process is given below in 3rd and last step.
