How to do Business in Right Way?

People often ask me different questions about business. Since I’m still learning myself, I guide as much as I know. But one thing I always tell those who want to start or are doing online business:

 *First, make your own business page.* This is super important—even if your personal profile is very active, you have lots of followers, and good reach and engagement, you still need a separate business page. Start it from scratch, just like you built your personal profile, followers, and reach.

How? With content! Good content is necessary for any ID or page—content that attracts your audience so much that even if they don’t want to buy, they’re at least compelled to read or window shop, to visit your page or wall.

What should the business page’s content be? Products! Remember, whether online or offline, there are many others doing the same business. So, how do you make your name or identity? 

1. First: ethics

2. Second: quality

3. Third: service/dealing

These three things are equally important.

Today I read a Chinese proverb: “If you don’t know how to smile, don’t open a shop.” This is so true—in business, sometimes you have to smile even when you feel like snapping at someone, but patience is key!

Second, offer good products. Don’t just sell what’s everywhere, on every shop—step aside from that and keep something unique, better quality, and durable. Keep upgrading your taste, explore new things for your business so your knowledge stays up-to-date.

Third: service and dealing—these must be transparent and honest. Always speak the truth and keep your dealings clear. Don’t hide anything, don’t lie.

All this takes time. How much? It depends on your public relations. If you already have a good reputation or network, with hard work, it’ll take less time—but you’ll still need to work hard. If not, then you’ll need double the effort and time, but always stay hopeful!

Don’t lose courage, don’t get weak, don’t stop working hard, keep your first-day enthusiasm alive. Why do we do business? To become financially independent! The reason for wanting financial independence is different for everyone—keep your reason in front of you and think about it daily, it’ll keep you motivated.

And most importantly, for those who are new or want to start—no one will tell you where they get their stock made, buy, or source from. First, it’s unethical to ask, and second, it’s their right not to tell. You have to discover all this yourself, build your own contacts, find your own places. Sometimes you’ll get ripped off, sometimes you’ll hit the jackpot, sometimes you’ll struggle a lot, and sometimes you’ll find something amazing by chance—so be ready for everything. If you were privileged like me, be ready to work hard now. Saying “I do online business” just sounds cool—it’s actually the opposite, which you only realize after jumping in.
