*Introduction* :
Css stands for central superior service exam.
Css exam is conducted by federal public service commission (Fpsc) Islamabad for the recruitment of candidates to posts (Bs_17) in the following service under federal govt.
Commerce n trade services
Customs n excise services
District management group
Foreign service of pak
Income tax group
Information group
Military lands n contentment groups
Office management group
Pak audit n accounts service
Police service of pak

_Eligibility criteria_
Applicant must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for appearing in css exam.
_Nationality criteria_
The applicant must be the a citizen of pak or permanent resident of state of Jammu nd KASHMIR.
_Education criteria_
The applicant must have a bachelor degree with at least 2nd division from uni of pak or Equivalent qualification from foreign uni recognized by HEC.
A candidate having 3rd division in his or her bachelor degree can only apply for the exm if he or she has secured higher division in the master degree.
_Age criteria_
The age limit for candidate applying for css exm is 21 to 30 years. The age limit is relaxed by two years (making 32 years is maximum age) for candidates currently serving as govt employees or belonging to recognized tribe's nd areas.

_How to apply for css exam in Brief_
Css take MCQs based 200 marks for screening at initial level. Passing marks 66 only. For screening test fee is 250
The advertisement of css exam,reflecting dates, is published in all newspapers in Sept each year.
Deposit the exam fee 2200/- in the nearest govt.
Treasury/ state Bank of pak/National bank of pak under the account head "CO2101_ organs of state exam fee(FPSC receipt).
Fill in the online application form on the official website of FPSC nd take a print out (hard copy) of the same online form.
Dispatch the hard copy of online form along with copies of ur documents nd bank receipt to the FPSC headquarter, Islamabad.

Calculated on the 31st dec of the year of applying.
